Refunds Policy

Harcourts Real Estate Training Centre (HRETC) is committed to ensuring that all students and clients receive fair and transparent information about fees and refund entitlements. We aim to process refund requests efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and policies.

A full refund is only available within a 10 day cooling-off period. A cooling-off period only applies to students who have not accessed their student portal or completed any assessments or units of competency.

Requesting a Refund:

  1. Submit a written refund request to help@realestatetrainingcentre.com
  2. Include your full name, course name, payment details, and reason for the request. Accompanying documentation may include a medical certificate or death certificate
  3. If you are withdrawing after commencement, please indicate the last date of access or participation
  4. If your employer paid and is requesting a credit, please include the name and contact details for your employer
  5. Await outcome communication from the National Operations Administrator within 10 business days

You will not be entitled to a refund if:

  • You fail to complete all or any part of your course by the Course Expiry Date (unless prior arrangements have been made with HRETC);
    or
  • HRETC cancels your enrolment on the grounds of misconduct

For students who fall ill or are injured to the extent that they can no longer continue with their training and assessment. These refunds require the student to provide a supporting Medical Certificate/s to HRETC.

For students who can no longer undertake the course due to compassionate grounds or extenuating circumstances, these refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and require supporting documentation. These refunds are at the discretion of the HRETC CEO or RTO Operations Administrator.

*Please note: No refunds apply to those students who have signed up for a Payment Plan with EzyPay.

Third Party Payments

Harcourts Real Estate Training Centre cannot be involved in refund disputes between students and a Third Party e.g. their employer, however student fee transfers are available at the discretion of the HRETC.
